Abdon Loebs

As a young man growing up in Northern California, Abdon Loebs was captivated by the beauty of the blue-green waters and rugged mountains of the Lake Tahoe C. From an early age he strove to capture the shimmering lakes and mountains of his childhood home and the surrounding California landscape, National Parks and even the lush tropical beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. His distinct style is reflective of his deep, personal and spiritual connection with nature and his work spans many styles and mediums, most prolifically water color, but also oils, acrylic, mixed media and collage. He now resides in South Lake Tahoe, where he has raised two children with his wife and continues to find new inspiration from nature and life.
