As a young immigrant from Greece, Vaso Vasiliki courageously left her home and family behind to enroll and graduate from the Academy of Art in San Francisco with a degree in interior design.  Today, she is self employed as the proprietor of her own Interior Design firm in San Francisco, utilizing her artistic eye to fulfill her clients interior design dreams. Influenced at an early age by her painter father, she could always be found with a crayon and pad in hand as a child. Her upbringing in the Mediterranean served as a major inspiration for her work as both a designer and a painter, its idyllic playground of ocean and sun spurred a love for brilliant jewel tone colors and dramatic shapes. She has re-invented the art of fine wine with her bold, vibrant and impressionistic mixed media paintings that create a new contemporary look and invoke an appreciation of fine wine. Her work utilizes a variety of media including acrylics, metallics, crayon and oils and her originals are vibrant and full of texture, a passionate expression of her love of wine and the culture surrounding it.
